PCI Group was established in 1996 as a construction scheduling and claims service organization. In servicing clients, PCI Group consultants established expertise in Primavera software products and began offering software training and implementation. In the year 2000, PCI Group became interested in becoming a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for the Primavera product line. During this same time many PCI Group clients were utilizing Prolog Manager by Meridian Systems. Amidst negotiations with Primavera and Meridian Systems, PCI Group decided to become an official VAR for the Prolog Manager product line while continuing to provide services for Primavera products and Microsoft Project.

By 2004 PCI Group experienced record growth in the scheduling and claims business. There was also tremendous success with Prolog and PCI Group became the #1 VAR for Meridian Systems for 2005, 2006, and 2007 breaking records in sales each year. In August of 2008 PCI Group was acquired by Hill International.

The PCI Group scheduling and claims business was a natural fit into the Hill International business model and is in the process of being absorbed into Hill International’s core business. The Project Controls Software and Services portion of the PCI Group business operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hill International.
